2 Bedroom Cottage in Grand Junction
Built in 1900, this charming house was renovated in 2008 and combines turn-of-the-century charm with all the modern conveniences you would hope for in a vacation home. The house has two bedrooms and one large bathroom and comfortably sleeps up to six with the pull-out coach in the living room. All of the décor and furniture were new in 2015 as we purchased the home in January 2015 and immediately decorated with all new furnishings, linens, television, beds, mattresses, etc. If you’re looking for a wonderful blend of charm and convenience, we’d welcome you to stay at our Chipeta home. The great location is a short walk (5-6 blocks) to historic downtown Main Street in Grand Junction where you will find dozens of great restaurants and shops.
The Chipeta house is located within two miles of Colorado Mesa University and is only about 6 miles to the entrance of the beautiful Colorado National Monument. The amazing red rock formations are not to be missed! You can hike the trails and travel the road across the National Monument from Grand Junction to Fruita via bike or car and see scenery that by itself makes the trip to Grand Junction well worthwhile.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, utensils, and all you need if you are inspired to cook...including a gas grill.
