The Russell Cabin is a historic one-room log cabin located on the magnificent 12,000 acre Lazy EL Ranch in Roscoe Montana. The Russell Cabin is located in the heart of the main barnyard adjacent to the Cookhouse. Rustic charm is found in every detail, from the beautiful stone fireplace with hand hewn mantle to the western décor featuring saddles, trunks, and original western art. A queen sized bed and additional twin, plus a private en-suite bathroom, comfortably sleeps 2 to 3 people. This cabin is an ideal space for a romantic getaway in the mountains of Montana or for those who seek a total escape from the technical noise of the world. Russell Cabin can be combined with Stokke and Summer Cabin to create a total buyout of the Ranch hosting a maximum of 15 guests. Area outfitters can provide on ranch horseback riding and fly fishing on our 5 miles of Blue Ribbon trout stream at additional cost. The nearby mountain towns of Absarokee and Red Lodge offer a variety of restaurants and shopping. Area attractions include the Beartooth Highway; touted as "The Most beautiful 75 miles in America", Yellowstone Park and Chief Joseph Highway. The Cookhouse features a full commercial kitchen and is included with the Russell Cabin. Local caterers may be available to provide personal chef services. Russell Cabin is available from May to September. Our cabins do not have TV or Wi-Fi however Wi-Fi is available at The Cookhouse.
