Beautiful home on top of the hill just outside of downtown Leadville! Breath-taking views from the walkout balcony + every single window in the house.

The Space:
Our favorite part about this place is the view. This is a beautiful, albeit dated, home from the 70s, upgraded with the touch of a couple millennials. We have comfortable seating throughout the house, HBO/Netflix, plus a standup desk and dining table available as work spaces. The kitchen is spacious, and generously stocked. We're right on the Leadville Race Series course for the 100 miler bike & run. Perfect for outdoor and snow activities at Ski Cooper or Copper Mountain!
Soak in the hot tub and enjoy the mountain views and stargaze above! Or grill on the outdoor balcony while watching the sun set. The house itself definitely needs some remodeling, which we plan to do in the Fall of 2022. The kitchen and bathrooms are outdated - this house was built in the late 1970's. That said, Everything works. The views are absolutely incredible. The fireplace and furnace work great. There is a Smart TV with Netflix & HBO in every room.
All 3 bedrooms have a 12 inch memory foam Queen mattress.

Note: we have a propane gas grill, but can’t guarantee that there is gas in the tank. Please plan accordingly if you plan to use the grill
The Neighborhood:
4 blocks from downtown/main street Leadville! Also right on the Leadville Race Series course for the 100 miler bike and run. You'll be surrounded by the highest mountains in the Colorado Rockies where majestic scenery blends with a lively history. There is much to do during your stay including:
- Skiing at nearby Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek
- Ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and Nordic skiing on the Mineral Belt Trail.
- Mountain biking for any level of expertise. World-class hiking, mountain climbing, fishing and hunting.
- Shopping, dining, visiting museums or taking a self-guided walking tour in a quintessential Victorian town.
- Following the route of the Silver Kings in Leadville's Mining District.
- Exploring ghost towns.
- Four-wheeling from beginner level to the more advanced 13,186' Mosquito Pass, the highest vehicular road in the United States.
Getting Around:
Pretty much all of our guests bring a car to get around. There is plenty of parking and it's an easy walk to Main Street.

Yes, we are pet friendly - There is an additional pet fee if you are bringing a pet (2 pets max) - $50 for one, $75 for two
Note: under no circumstances can you leave your pet(s) unattended at the property - there are doggy day care/ dog boarding options or take your pet with you! Violations of this may be met with a $100 fine or we may ask you to check-out early.
This home has 2 apartments on the bottom level of the home. The apartments have separate entrances and shouldn't effect your stay, but please note that noise travels easily so we have implemented the following quiet hours:
10pm - 8am during the week
11pm - 8am on weekends
There is also a two car limit for the driveway for this listing so please make sure to carpool if you need to!
