If you are looking for a different kind of adventure at Pikes Peak, you can drive up to the top of Pikes Peak, beginning in Manitou Springs just 35 minutes away. For real adventurers you can hike up Barr Trail (13 miles) to the top of Pikes Peak. The base of Barr Trail is also located in Manitou Springs next to the Cog railway station.
