A great base for mountain adventures, this 1BR mountain studio (sleeps 4) is just 10 minutes from the slopes of Vail Ski Resort. Comfortable and cozy, the studio features a full kitchen, spacious bathroom, 50" TV, and a shared hot tub.
INSIDE THE STUDIO
You'll find this home, part of a triplex, up a short, sloping, heated driveway. After parking in the driveway, head along the left side of the garage to the front door of your studio. A sign above the door reading "Eagle's Nest" signals your arrival.
Once inside the studio, you'll plush high-end queen-size bed immediately on your left. Near the foot of the bed, a cozy living area features a sleeper sofa, and a 50" TV with DVD player. On chilly nights, it's a great space to settle in for movie nights with hot chocolate.
To the right of the sleeping area, a wooden dining table seats 3. A small passageway to the right leads to a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a large single sink vanity with granite counter-tops.
Cook evening meals in the full kitchen, located to the right of the dining area. This well-equipped cooking space has a range of appliances, including a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and electric stove-oven.
After a day spent blazing down alpine slopes, soothe aching limbs in the shared hot tub, accessible via a staircase on the right side of the garage. The tub sits on a deck area with a gas grill and outdoor seating for 4—the perfect spot for après ski dining and drinks.
THE LOCATION
At the "Eagle's Nest," it's less than 10 minutes to Vail Mountain Resort and Lionshead Village. Want to hit the slopes without the drive? You're a 3-minute walk from the Meadow Creek Bus Stop, where a free bus service runs every 15 minutes.
For a change of scenery from the snow, drive 20 minutes to Gore Creek. Kayak on the rapids, enjoy a spot of fishing, or pull on hiking boots and follow a scenic river trail offering panoramic valley views.
