Steamboat Dream Vacation welcomes you to our South Valley Escape. This home boasts stunning panoramic valley views, abundant outdoor recreation and privacy. We are located in the South Shore neighborhood of Stagecoach, only 21 miles from Steamboat Springs Resort. Home features 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, an open floor plan, 2 living rooms, HIGH SPEED INTERNET and 5 road bikes. This is a great opportunity for people who work remotely or are looking to relocate to the mountains.
Guests have full access to the house except for one storage closet and one small bedroom that holds the owners personal belongings. The storage bedroom is not one of the bedrooms we advertise. Help yourself to the dry goods in the pantry and feel free to utilize any seasoning spices.
The South Valley of Stagecoach is peaceful and quiet. Neighbors are very friendly and welcoming!
Home includes two parking spaces in the garage. We highly recommend a vehicle with snow tires during the winter months.
We greatly value sustainability and helping to build our local communities resources. Thus, this home is “off the grid”. It is powered by solar panels, a wind turbine and a battery bank. There is a propane generator that will kick in if the batteries run low during extended times of limited sun/wind power. We manage everything remotely, so there is no need to worry about familiarity with being “off the grid”.
The home still acts like any other home besides one key difference. The house does not have any electrical heating appliances, as they would quickly drain the battery and/or overwhelm the house’s power supply (inverter). The clothes dryer, water heater, fireplaces, oven, etc. all use propane for heat. Upon guest arrival the propane tank will be full. Guests are responsible for refilling the tank during their stay and upon departure. Electric space heaters are not permitted inside the home.
This home does have its own sewage tank that must be pumped every so often depending on toilet, shower and bath usage. We do ask that all guests are mindful of their water waste consumption. We include one tank pumping per rental. Anything over that will be a cost to the guest.
