This gorgeous and rustic two-story, four-bedroom vacation home offers total privacy enveloped in nature in the picturesque Fairplay Valley. With an updated kitchen and living areas designed for entertaining, this spacious home has everything your group needs. It’s also just minutes into town for anything you need.
We're here for you during your stay but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. We are happy to assist via phone or through Airbnb before, during or after your stay.
Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.
Our house is located in the heart of South Park, Colorado near the National Forest, skiing in Breckinridge, hot springs in Buena Vista, and North America's highest incorporated town, Alma. You'll be immersed in nature, and may even see some wildlife! Easily access hiking trails (13ers and 14ers), Gold Medal water fishing, cycling routes, water sports, skiing, and more.

Vail Ski Resort: 1 hour 30 minutes - 2 hours
You’ll have access to every room and feature of the cabin. Make yourself at home, your hosts are just a phone call or text away if you have any questions or want recommendations for things to do nearby. There is a keypad on the front door for easy and secure access to the home.
We are accessible year-round. Our cabin is located on a county road that gets plowed when there's snow; however, we still recommend AWD with good tire tread in the snowy months (generally December to April). Winter driving conditions on the highways leading to the cabin can change rapidly, so check the weather before heading out. Colorado has some specific winter driving laws pertaining to tire requirements.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
This beautiful Fairplay home has four amazing bedrooms each with gorgeous views of the surrounding area. The Master Bedroom is located upstairs and boasts a relaxing King size bed. This large bedroom also features an en suite bathroom, a comfortable chair, a decorative (non-functional) fireplace, and access to the huge wooden deck.
A second upstairs bedroom has a cozy bed, high-end linens, plush carpeting, and access to the expansive wooden deck. There are great views in every direction.
The third bedroom is located downstairs. It has bunk beds, perfect to accommodate a large group. The quiet and tucked away space is perfect for a couple with young kids or siblings.
The fourth bedroom is located downstairs, and also has bunk beds. There is plenty of space for everyone in this large home!
☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
A house that sleeps 10 should have plenty of bathrooms so that everyone can take care of business in peace, and this home does not disappoint. There are 3 bathrooms throughout the house.
The master bathroom has two sinks, a walk-in shower with glass doors, a large tub, and an expansive vanity area. The family bathroom between the upstairs bedrooms has a tub/shower combo with sliding glass doors and an elegant vanity space. There is a third bathroom in the basement.
☆☆ KITCHEN & LOUNGE ☆☆
If you enjoy entertaining, you'll love the fully stocked, gourmet kitchen, complete with flat top stove, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, and all the utensils and bakeware you need to cook meals at home.
The kitchen transitions seamlessly into the living area, a bright and welcoming common space where everyone can find a favorite spot. Highlights of the spacious lounge include a large TV, upscale furniture, decorative lighting, and a huge fireplace. There are tons of windows providing ample natural light into the space.
Downstairs, you'll find another living area with plenty of seating and space for your group to hang out.
☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
The home is located on a huge plot of land in the mountains outside of Fairplay. You'll have 360 degree views of nature and a lot of privacy. There is a huge two-story wooden deck where you can spend time outside enjoying the views.
Deck furniture will be stored away for the winter months.
Per Park Country short term regulations, outdoor fires of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Fairplay is a small town in the mountains of Colorado, and as such, public transit options are limited. There is no public transportation system within the town itself. For those who prefer to drive, Fairplay is easily accessible via US Highway 285 and is roughly 85 miles west of Denver.
Roads are accessible year round, but please note that 4-wheel drive IS necessary to access the home in the event of heavy snowfall.
***PLEASE NOTE***
• Water use in the mountains is a bit different from other places. Taking long, extended showers can exhaust the limited water supply and burn out the pump. It's a pricey repair, so please be mindful of this during your stay. There are times when the water pressure can be affected if the water supply has been overused. We appreciate your cooperation!
• 4-wheel drive may be necessary to access the home in the event of heavy snowfall
• Cell reception can be spotty in the mountains - always make sure to have a screenshot or print-out of directions/check-in instructions!
• The house sits at 10,000 ft elevation
