We recommend drinking plenty of water, limiting alcohol and caffeine, and taking it easy for the first day or two to ensure a comfortable stay. The whole area is high altitude with Breckenridge at 10K. If anyone in your group has been or may be affected by altitude, we recommend staying at a lower elevation.
