Trailside Retreat is right @ town limits for all the fun & restaurant options: Nederland, Eldora skiing & Boulder too
Access is easy, not far off the paved road and the driveway is flat!
Remember: There are many wild animals in the area so please do BE AWARE - Bear, Moose, Raccoon, Mountain Lion & Bobcat - no food may be left in cars or trash outside the home or garage.!
Trailside blesses you with it's warm atmosphere, homey decor & comfy beds - and of course, the wood stove and hot tub for those winter nights.
Recycle and trash can be placed in the garage
No garage access for cars.**3 Car maximum in the driveway!
Some wood is available onsite - cut wood is available in town
Hot Tub - add 1 scoop after each use, run jets, (Lid must be closed & locked when not in use so the wind doesn't take it!)

Guest access
--You will have access to the entire house for parties up to 6 people (no garage parking).
---For larger parties paying additional guest fee, we can also include the additional 1 room studio for your visit (no bathroom in studio above garage)
----Parking is limited to 3 cars - call for a plan if more are expected
-----Pets may be allowed ONLY with PRIOR written, PAID $50per/pet per/visit if not communicated the s a $250 fine - longer stays w/ communicated approval will be discounted :)
------Driving here is easy -Access to the home is flat (-ish) & primarily paved, but for the last 'two blocks' of dirt road ***However, this is the Rocky Mountains so if you visit in the winter please have four-wheel-drive. We get a lot of snow.
Other things to note
Remember that we are at Altitude - so, stay hydrated!
OBSERVE FIRE RESTRICTIONS - More often then not, we are under strict fire bans in the area - assume that outdoor fires are not allowed unless we communicate about it and confirm.
Depending on the time of year you visit, we can have Weather - layer your clothing :)!
& Wildlife Consciousness is a must - moose, dear, foxes, rabbits, coyote, mice, voles, squirrels, chipmunks, ground squirrels, owls, crows, hummingbirds... they live here too!
**Be 'Bear Aware' - keep no food in your car and be sure to close the doors to the house at night.
( **FYI** you can set off your car alarm if you see a bear near the house)
