Step through the front door of Starlit Meadow Lodge, where you are greeted by a spacious entry with a welcoming bench and closet storage space for gear and adventure goods. Tucked in the corner near the stairs is a cozy play space chalk full of kids games, toys and books to keep the little ones entertained for hours. To the right, a quiet corner office provides two separate desk spaces, with a monitor and printer available for guest use.
The Living Room features peaceful woodland views through floor to ceiling windows. The plush sectional sofa is centered around a majestic gas fireplace in corner television, where your family is sure to enjoy hours of fun and relaxation. Relish in the modern mountain decor with thoughtful, unique and personal touches throughout the house that will make you feel right at home. On the other side of the double sided gas fireplace, enjoy an ample Dining Room with a large dining table offering standard seating for six as well as table extensions - great for entertaining loved ones over your holiday. The spacious, well appointed Kitchen offers top of line stainless steel appliances, ample counter space with bar top seating for two and numerous kitchen gadgets and accouterments, ensuring that you have everything you will need to whip up your favorite family meal. The Central ground floor Bathroom offers a step in shower, standard toilet and vanity.
The ground floor Master Suite offers walk out access to the back of the home, custom log furnishings, a King size bed fitted with cozy cotton bed linens and an En Suite Bathroom. The En Suite Bathroom has a spacious step-in shower with double shower heads, a gorgeous soaking tub, a double vanity and a private toilet.
Make your way up the staircase where the open Loft offers a bright and cheerful reading nook for two, overlooking the living room. Down the hallway on the left, the Bedroom offers a full size closet, a corner rocking chair and a comfortable King size bed. All the beds in the home are fitted with fresh and cozy cotton bed linens, ensuring that you wake well rested, refreshed and ready for days of adventure. At the end of the spacious hallway is the large Entertainment Room with additional sleeping offering a Full size bed, Twin Daybed or a treehouse style Twin to choose from. The Entertainment Rooms' loveseat and lounge chair is centered around a Smart TV and entertainment center.
The home features a convenient double garage (a rare find for homes in this area!) and a laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer, so there's no need to waste precious vacation time making trips to the laundromat in town! The driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "base camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.
