Unwind and enjoy the city in our cozy, private, and clean Guest Suite! Our home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but is walking distance (less than 1/2 mile) from the University of Denver campus. We live in the main, separable part of the property and are excited for you to use our basement as a home base for which to decompress or explore the city! The space This space is the basement of our house, with a private entrance. You will have one bedroom with a queen size bed and a desk, one large living room/bedroom, and a bathroom with laundry. The large room is divided into a living area with a sleeper sofa, TV, and hotel-style kitchenette, and a bedroom area with a queen size bed. The TV includes an Amazon Fire TV Stick with Netflix, you are welcome to log in to your own streaming accounts on the device, just remember to log out! Please note that the laundry machines are shared with the hosts. If we need to use them, we will let you know in advance and stick to a quick in and out for a load of laundry during the day/early evening. The kitchenette includes plates, bowls, silverware, an electric kettle, a microwave, a french press with fresh coffee grounds, assorted teas, a water filter, a refrigerator, and glasses. The stand alone bedroom has a desk, a closet with hangers, and a full length mirror. The living areas have a bright and comfortable aesthetic which we hope you will enjoy, but please note that the bathroom also houses laundry facilities, and our water heater and furnace, giving it a more utilitarian feel. We provide the following consumables: coffee, tea, sugar, non-dairy creamer, shampoo, body wash, soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and sunscreen. We are also happy to try to accommodate any reasonable requests our guests may have, but we cannot promise any other consumable amenities. Guest access Guests have access to the basement and the backyard. The Laundry facilities are shared with the hosts. We will notify you if we need to use the laundry machines, but other than that we won't go downstairs. The neighborhood We live in a residential neighborhood just south of the University of Denver. Our neighborhood is the intersection between a sleepy suburb and a vibrant college campus. Within about a half mile you can walk to wonderful restaurants including the locally famous Jerusalem Cafe, and Pioneer bar, and cultural venues including the Newman Center for the Performing arts. You will find the highest concentration of restaurants and businesses on University Boulevard and Evans avenue. Please feel free to ask the hosts about recommendations in the area. Other things to note This house does not have AC. Please note that this is a basement level area, so you will have to climb a flight of stairs.
