The original home built in 1935 has been added on and updated. The great room features a wall of windows with a great view of the mountains and a wood-burning stove. The floors a bit uneven in spots and there is only one bathroom, with a small shower. Large fenced back yard with hot tub and fire pit (pending fire ban). We have tried to create a tranquil mountain retreat to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle of everyday life.

Summary: We just spent the weekend at this mountain house and it was amazing! We live in the foothills of Colorado but love to take a weekend getaway each winter to ski at Loveland with our teenage children. This was by far the best home we have found. We will be hoping to stay here every year from now on! It is so clean, so beautiful, so accommodating and a perfect location, beautiful views, the bedding was so comfortable. Really about everything was perfect. We didn't leave the house, only to ski and come back to cook dinner and play games. We had the best time! My husband loved the wood burning stove and hot tub, our kids loved the Keurig to make their own hot chocolate, I loved the kitchen and the ease of getting dinner ready and the rock garden in the back yard. So cool! We left there wishing we were the owners! The living space was so cozy, we stayed there all night without any desire to be anywhere else. It really was so great! We highly suggest staying here!
