This is a beautiful, well appointed fully self contained cottage located on a Bellingen 120 acre hobby farm. It has two bedrooms, sleeping 6 people, and two bathrooms. All household linen is provided.
Verandas wrap around the cottage, and are sun-drenched throughout the day in winter, shaded in summer, with a very large, covered front veranda. Expansive and spectacular mountain and valley views will keep you on the veranda for hours at a time. Gardens have been designed with an emphasis on bird attracting plants.
The living room has a fireplace, ceiling fans and air conditioning. There is a flat screen digital TV with Netflix installed and a DVD player. NBN WIFI is free in the cottage. The kitchen has a full sized stove and fridge, microwave and there is a gas BBQ on the veranda. You will only need to bring food and personal effects. There is an attached laundry with washing machine and dryer. The cottage was extensively upgraded at the end of 2019.
There is an ensuite to the main bedroom, and the main bathroom has both a large shower and a laundry tub.
It's a perfect place for children - half a kilometre away from the road, not near any water source, well away from neighbours and surrounded by a large flat lawn - a perfect playground for active children (and adults).
Small dogs (under 10kgs) are welcome but please confirm first. You must clean up after your dog, for the comfort of yourselves and other guests. Dogs are not permitted on furniture or in beds for health reasons. If there are indications that this has occurred, you will be charged $50 per dog per day for your stay.
The cottage is only a five minute drive from Bellingen, and is well off the road on top of a hill. The cottage offers peace, privacy and an opportunity to get away from it all. But not so far away that you can't access the cafes, restaurants and shops of Bellingen when you want to.
