This family home resides on a quiet family block, close to all the best things Boulder has to offer.
It's a 10 minute walk to the University of Colorado, a 12 minute walk to famous Chautauqua Park and the start of hundreds of miles of trails and a 20-25 minute walk or a short cycle or drive to downtown Boulder and Pearl Street, a beautiful pedestrian only area filled with shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The highlight of the home is the beautiful outdoor area. Filled with flowers, and shaded by a gorgeous hundred year old elm tree, the backyard is a garden Oasis in the heart of Boulder. From the covered patio and BBQ area to the outdoor fireplace with fairy lights, the backyard is perfect for entertaining and enjoying Boulder's famous "300 days of sun per year". There is a huge swing hanging from our Elm tree that kids love, or you can just rest on our old bench and relax to the sound of birds visiting our bird feeders and water fountain all day long.
As you enter the house from 14th street, you will find our covered front porch adorned in the summer with beautiful flowers and a nice porch swing to relax on and outdoor ceiling fans to cool off.
Come in through the main door and you will find our open dining room and living room. The large wooden dining table is ideal for entertaining numerous guests, while the sitting area provides a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the gas fireplace in winter.
The large open kitchen are is next, with top-end appliances (Wolf, Sub-Zero, Bosch), high-end marble and travertine finishes and a cozy breakfast area where you can enjoy the views of the back garden and see the birds enjoying our outdoor feeders.
Next to the kitchen is our recently built library, a cozy room for reading, and drinking a home-made latte using our simple to use Breville Espresso Machine. Next to the library is a 3/4 bathroom and a home-office with high speed internet perfect for those who need a quiet space work while in town. The office contains a pull-out couch for extra sleeping space for larger families.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms. The Master bedroom contains a King bed, an outdoor porch for sipping coffee and enjoying flatiron views through the trees (easier in winter!), a huge walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with his and her sinks, a classic clawfoot tub, and his and her shower. The laundry room is also attached to the master bedroom.
The other two bedrooms, joined by a three-sink en-suite full bathroom contain bunk-beds for little ones and a queen bed.
The basement of the house is centered around a TV/movie room complete with 55" Samsung TV, Epson 4k Projector and screen, surround sound and comfortable seating to enjoy movies, games or your favorite shows.
FYI: Boulder zoning regulations limit us to rent to a maximum of three individuals who are unrelated to each other. Families have no such limitation on renting. We give you this information upfront to avoid inconveniencing both you and us, and we thank you for your understanding.
