All these varied climates come together here in Pleasant Valley at the foot of the Sneffles Range in the San Juan Mountains.
Easy driving distance to the Ouray or Orvis Hot Springs, Telluride, and shopping at the quaint town of Ridgway. Drive the Million Dollar Hwy on the way from Ouray to Silverton, or for something more exciting drive over Last Dollar Road to Telluride. Hike up the Blue Lakes trail, and if you are up for it continue on to climb Mt. Sneffles. From here it is a day's journey to Durango and/or Mesa Verde.
