Bring your friends and family and come enjoy a cozy rural Creekside getaway with 360 views and abundant wildlife. This 4 bedroom / 3 bathroom house can sleep up to 10 guests and is just a few minutes from Powderhorn ski resort and all the other year round recreation available on the Grand Mesa. The property is conveniently located just off of Highway 65 - 2 miles past the Town of Mesa, CO, 7 miles to Powderhorn Ski Resort, and 8 miles to the start of the Grand Mesa National forest.
The house sits on 5 acres, on which you will see the resident llama named Blossom, along with wild turkey and deer that roam the property daily. Additionally, Coon creek runs through the property in which you might spot the glimmer of a native Colorado trout.
The home has recently been partially remodeled with 2 new bathrooms along with new flooring and paint throughout, but still has some of the quirks you would expect from an older Country Home - which is reflected in the price. The downstairs layout includes the master bed and Full bath, a 2nd bedroom with 2 twins, kitchen, dining room, living room and 2nd bath with shower. The kitchen has everything you need need: separate Fridge and Freezer, propane cooktop/ oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and comes fully stocked with pots/pans, dish-ware and utensils.
Upstairs you will find a brand new bathroom and a large loft style great room / bedroom which is ideal for the kids: 2 twin beds, 1 full size bed, a couch, large bean bag and TV / PlayStation. Additionally, upstairs there is a separate bedroom with queen size bed. The kids room has plenty of floor space to add air mattresses (not provided) if additional sleeping room is needed.
Pets are allowed with an additional fee, however we ask that no pets are allowed on furniture/beds and they are cleaned up after outside.
Internet is provided and the kids room includes a smart tv / PlayStation and the main living room is connected to Apple TV. Plus lots of books, puzzles, and games. The property is ideal for families large and small, multiple couples, and small groups - that do not want to pay twice the rate for more more luxurious homes of similar size. There is plenty of room for tent camping and RVs if there are those in your group that prefer that. At this time, we are not offering the property for events.
