Come experience the abundance of nature and fresh air at our rustic and cozy log cabin. My husband and I found our dream log home in the mountains and moved here in 2018. We have loved it so much that we wanted to share the experience with other couples. The separate log cabin on the property became the perfect opportunity to share our dream with others by turning it into a one room guest cabin with a loft bedroom and a detached bathroom.(NO SHOWER, NO HOT WATER). It is perfect for a romantic weekend, a short getaway, or just a place to lay your head after a long day of outdoor activities.
The cabin has a detached bathroom equipped with a toilet, vanity/sink, but NO SHOWER, and NO HOT WATER. There are nice, clean showers at the RV park in town for $10.00, twenty minutes away. Many of our guests visit the Hot Springs for $20.00, which also have showers. The other option is keep it simple and heat water up in the cabin for a sponge bath.
The kitchenette is equipped to prepare any basic meal. There is a sink, a mini fridge, electric hotplate, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mini crock pot, electric teapot, pans, dishes and silverware, cooking utensils, wine opener, can opener, toaster, etc. There is also a barbecue grill right outside the cabin. We live next door to the cabin and have most any kitchen tool or appliance you may need if the cabin is not equipped with it when you arrive. Our cozy cabin is equipped with an electric heater as well as an electric fireplace.
It easily accommodates two people with a queen size bed in the loft, (you must climb a ladder to get to the loft).

We have a fire pit if you desire to sit and relax with hot chocolate and roast marshmallows or make s’mores. Depending on the time of day you arrive, sit on the deck and gaze at the views, or stare at the stars in the dark sky. Feel free to walk around our beautiful mountain property. Later on, turn on the electric fireplace and enjoy the comfort of the queen size bed up in the loft or the futon on the main level. Perhaps you're our guest in the colder months and you want to go snow mobiling at the many designated areas a short distance away, or snow skiing/snow boarding in Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, or one of other ski resorts, most within an hour from this mountain cabin. You may want to go ice fishing at Wolford Reservoir located 15 minutes away, or grab your snowshoes or cross country skis and either tool around the cabin, or go explore some of the trails. If you are vacationing in the warmer months, you can experience many activities that are within a few miles. White water rafting, fishing, hunting, boating, water skiing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, or just hanging out at the cabin and relaxing. We are located 20 minutes from Red Dirt Reservoir. No matter what time of year you visit, you can experience every outdoor enthusiast's dream. Steamboat Springs and Silverthorne are both about an hour away and have numerous restaurants to choose from. There are also several concert venues within an hour away. If you prefer to stay closer to “home”, the town of Kremmling has a few restaurants including Deans West Brewery. There is also a grocery store, Dollar General, a couple of children’s parks, liquor stores, several churches, banks, a coffee/ice cream shop, a hardware store, beauty salons, etc.
