Our brand-new log home is the perfect base for your Colorado mountain adventures. You’ll find space for up to ten, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two living areas. Halfway between the Winter Park ski resort and Grand Lake, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, there is plenty of outdoor recreation in every season. At the end of the day, get away from it all and relax in the hot tub or on the spacious wrap-around deck and enjoy unparalleled Continental Divide views.
The space
Our secluded home is located at over 9000' in a peaceful mountain neighborhood. It has a spacious wrap-around deck and a wall of picture windows face east with unobstructed views of the Continental Divide, allowing for amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star-gazing.
The house is built of 10" pine logs with custom log accents as well as many other custom features. It includes an indoor gas fireplace for cozy mornings and evenings at the house, a large hot tub, and multiple places for you to hang out and enjoy, indoors and outdoors.
The open floor plan on the main floor of our house includes a fully-stocked kitchen, dining room, and living area with a gas fireplace. There is also a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
The open loft area includes a California king bed where you can lounge in bed and enjoy sunrise over the Continental Divide through the massive front windows. There is also another sitting area and a full bathroom on this level.
The walk-out basement has high ceilings and lots of windows, providing plenty of light. It includes a bonus area with ping-pong, air hockey, and a large TV. It also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms (queen and a room with two sets of twin bunks). Laundry is located on this level as well.
We've worked hard on our home and treasure the time that we spend there. We know you'll love it too!

Other things to note
Due to the custom log work, it is not possible to use baby gates on the interior staircases. We welcome families and want you to be safe so please consider this if you have a child at an age where stairs are a concern.
Storms are possible any time of the year in the mountains and snow is not uncommon from September thru May. If you are visiting during these months, we highly recommend an AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicle with appropriate tires.
