A perfect choice for visiting Denver. Location, Location, location! Victorian Foursquare Home was built in 1900. Basements back in the 1900’s were not intended for livable space, but for coal storage, work shops and second kitchens. You’ll be delighted with the seamless mix of Victorian, vintage industrial and modern touches throughout the apartment. It's perfectly charming, with a fantasic location to boot. Easy access to downtown Denver, the State Capital, 16th Street Mall, Convention Center, Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field, Coors Field and Cherry Creek Mall. Our apartment is located in Capital Hill, Denver and voted one of the 10 most beautiful neighborhoods in the US. This neighborhood is eclectic, colorful and vibrant. One of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods with a walk score of 94, which is a walkers paradise, a bikers dream and a short Uber ride to everything else. Markets abound.....Natural Grocers, King Scoopers, Trader Joe's are all walkable from the apartment. Other close grocery stores are Safeway and Sprouts Market. Located on historic Clarkson St the apartment is modern and fun. Attractions are also a short walk.... (7 blocks) to the State Capital building and 16th Street Mall (8 blocks) puts you in the middle of downtown. ….less than 3 miles from any of Denver's sporting venues.....Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field and Coors Field. The free 16th Street Mall shuttle continues through downtown Denver to Union Station. Everything Denver has to offer is within a 3 mile radius of the home..(not everything but pretty close) The street is filled with an urban mix of mansions, condos and apartment complexes. Very urban which is what we love about the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed with this home for your visit to Denver. The apartment has an open floor plan (approximately 650sf) that flows with natural light. Recent updates have kept the original architecture of the home but has added modern conveniences. The ceiling in the bedroom is low at points due to the furnance duct work(see pictures). If your a tall person this apartment may not be a good fit. The bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a electric fireplace. Please note this home is 119 years old, and there are 7 stairs to the living space in the basement normal for the period. The living area is comfortable and open with antique mantle and wrought iron fireplace cover (no real fireplace) replicating the 1900s feel, a LCD flat screen TV. All linens, towels, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The small industrial kitchen is open and easy to work in with a cafe table and 2 chairs. This century plus year old “mother-in-law” apartment is furnished with the needed amenities to maximize relaxation and comfort. The airy flow of the home's layout adds to the charm and comfort. The home has 2 Flat Screen HD TV’s, Cable and WiFi............. ------------------- General booking policies..... 5 night minimum outside of 45 days, 4 night minimum outside 30 days, 3 night minimum outside of 20 days and 2 night minimum outside of 10 days.
