All-New Cheyenne Casita! Where Mountain-Chic converges with Bohemian Vibes. Located in the trendy westside of Colorado Springs.
Inspired by the natural surroundings of The Springs and infused with a sophisticated bohemian décor, you will enjoy the serenity at this idyllic Casita. One of our core values is to be as eco-friendly as we can while running an excellent experience for our guests. We do our best to remove single-use items and have chosen more environmentally responsible alternatives.

We have two friendly "wolves", aka Huskies, on owner's part of the property. They may serenade you with their delightful howls to help the fire engines, adding to the unique and memorable ambiance of the Casita. Feel free to join in! You'll have a howling good time.
Bedroom:
Your private retreat allows you to unwind in a cozy bedroom featuring a comfortable bed with fresh linens, cozy pillows, and ample storage space for your belongings in the walk-in closet. A calming and chic design provides a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city.
Bathroom/Laundry:
The bathroom is designed with luxury and relaxation in mind, featuring a large soaking tub and a beautiful walk-in rain shower with all the essentials, including fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. In addition, you’ll have additional amenities like plush robes, hair dryer, and an initial set of laundry tablets and dryer sheets.
Living Area:
Unwind in the cozy living area flooded with natural light from the skylights. The space is equipped with a Roku Smart TV, perfect for streaming your favorite shows and movies. Sling TV is provided or log-in to your favorite steaming services.
Kitchen:
The kitchen comes fully-loaded with all the essentials, whip up a gourmet meal or enjoy any of the many choices of local take-out. If you are a coffee enthusiast, we have a robust variety of options for you: espresso, pour-over, French press, or drip style. For any tea lovers, we have loose-leaf teas as well as different choices of bagged teas, including an assortment of herbal, green, and black teas. (The owner lived in the UK for over 15 years, so she’s somewhat of an authority on the matter ;-P). You will also find all the essential equipment and glasses to shake up your favorite coffee.
Private Front Patio & Outdoor Space:
Step outside to a private front patio, or a secluded rear outdoor space complete with a fire pit, which can be used as a wood-fired grill. Ideal for alfresco dining and cozy evenings under the stars. COMING SOON: a barrel sauna will be available for use, enhancing your stay with the ultimate Scandinavian form of relaxation.

There are ample places where you can pop open your laptop and get to personal or professional work in Cheyenne Casita, but there is also a comfortable dedicated workspace offering work/life flexibility and convenience.

Air Conditioning/Heating:

GUEST ACCESS

Self check-in is always available to accommodate your travel plans.
Parking:
Ample parking is available. Please note that the property is dedicated to guests and is situated at the back of the owner's premises. The access point is shared with the owner through the driveway.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Owner Lives on Property:
I live in the main house on the property with family and our huskies, so I'm here if you need anything.
Rental Agreement:
As a requirement of my insurance and to protect Guests and the Host, in addition to booking through the platform, Cheyenne Casita has a standard Short-Term Rental Agreement to be entered into by both parties. The text of the Rental Agreement can be viewed in this listing. Please note that by booking on the platform, you agree to the terms in the Rental Agreement.
No Smoking/Pets:
We love animals but for the comfort and consideration of all guests, pets and smoking (of any kind) are not allowed on the property.
Security Cameras:
There are two actively recording security cameras on the property. One is on the front entrance of the owner's home, facing the street, and the other is on the rear entrance to the owner's home. Neither of these record anything from the dedicated space of the Casita. There are also no security cameras inside or outside the dedicated space for the Casita.
Trains:
While we are located quite a distance from commercial train tracks, if windows are left opened at night, you can occasionally hear the trains...as is the case with most areas surrounding the central core of Colorado Springs. If you are a light sleeper we recommend keeping the windows closed at night and using the mini-spit as a fan or for A/C.

NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION
Ivywild is nestled in the westside of Colorado Springs. It offers a fun neighborhood atmosphere with a range of amenities. Just a stone's throw away is the funky Ivywild School, where you have a brewery, bars and food.
For you daily essentials, guests have convenient access to three nearby supermarkets. Sprouts and Natural Grocers are a two minute drive and Safeway is just around the corner. You are also just a few minutes away from access to the I-25.
