IN THE WINTER YOU WILL NEED AWD TO ACCESS THE HOME.
The ground level has a large entry for boots, shoes, gear, and coats. This level has a queen master suite with a full bath. Up the stairs is the main level with a great room, living room, dining area, kitchen, and two bedrooms/2 bathroom. The master bath has a king and a full en suite bath. The second bedroom on this level has two twins that can be converted to a king. There is a full bath that services this bedroom and this level.
The wood fire stove puts off amazing heat, as well as the southern aspect of the massive windows. To cool the home, simply open to the accommodating deck doors and let the soothing mountain air do its thing! Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on the deck or a cup of your favorite hot beverage in the morning. You will see occasionally herds of elk roaming through the property.
While you are here, the cross-country skiing and sledding on the property will delight and for downhillers, the Telluride Ski Resort is 25 minutes away. The owners have sleds and snowshoes for your enjoyment. IN THE WINTER YOU WILL NEED AWD/4WD TO ACCESS THE HOME. This home is located on a mesa, meaning that the roads to get there are winding up and down and not paved. Experience at driving mountain roads is recommended.
