Enjoy the best views that Castle Rock has to offer! Experience the sensation of a cabin in the woods, without having to leave the city. You are right next door to Downtown Castle Rock and 5 minutes to I-25. This vintage, hillside home is situated on a unique lot right across from the Rock itself.
Play 8-ball pool with a mountain view, or enjoy a drink on the large deck with a sweeping landscape. Inside you can enjoy a vast game room, finish work in the home office, or relax on memory foam beds.
The large deck faces the Castle Rock, with stunning mountain/city views and ample seating. Abundant natural light enters the home from all angles.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms on the lower floor. These floors each contain a centrally located bathroom, and living room areas with Roku TV. The lower floor also contains an exercise space with elliptical machine.
The upper level is a large recreation room consisting of an 8' pool table, foosball, air hockey, skee-ball, and cornhole. The home also features two offices, a laundry room, two garage spaces, and plenty of driveway parking.
The home is equipped with mini-split air conditioning and baseboard heating via boiler, keeping the house at a comfortable temperature all year-round.
This is an older home with vintage charm. The interior is homey and in good shape - you will encounter styles/colors different from those you see in new builds today. You can expect wooden doors and trims, stone tiles, and an overall cabin-like feel (though it is a house and not a cabin).
Our home is situated on the side of a mountain, in a wooded area. Please note there are critters and wildlife in the surrounding land. While we have an incredible view of the Castle Rock, we are located next to Fifth St, and passing vehicles are audible when sitting outdoors. We aim to be transparent with our guests.
Guests have access to the entire space, including all 1/4 acre of surrounding land, and two car garage parking via keypad.
The long, downhill driveway will take you to the front of the house. In addition to garage parking, there is enough driveway parking for at least 3+ cars.

We ask guests who stay Monday night to put out the garbage bin at the entrance of the driveway, as this is the only time of week that trash collection comes around. All other guests, please retrieve the emptied bin back into the garage, if applicable. We and future guests appreciate your help here.
Serious damage or messes that require extra cleaning (way beyond the ordinary) will be fined accordingly (usually rare). House is photographed after every cleaning and before every arrival.
Early check-in and/or late check-out can be requested and will be granted based on availability, for one flat fee of $25 (per each).
