Two words come to mind on the approach to the Wildwood Hideaway--Peaceful and Secluded. The gently curving road passes among the multi-acre residences, many of which are hidden from view, lending a highly residential character to the SunTree development. The Hideaway itself shares its cul-de-sac with one other residence (your hosts’). We welcome monthly or extended bookings with a 30% discount on the daily rate.
The Hideaway is a 2,200 sq. ft. log home completed in 1996 by the previous owner. Secreted away up a short driveway is off-street parking on two levels for multiple vehicles and ease of loading/unloading of baggage and equipment. The upper level has the main entrance, with a deck which connects the front and rear covered porches.
The Main Entrance is on the private rear Porch, with its old-fashioned swing and overhead fan. Guests enter to a fully stocked Kitchen with natural pine flooring, a sliding Dining Island for food prep and serving, and a newly furnished Great Room with vaulted ceilings.
Down a short hallway, and past a closed stairway to the Lower Level, is an expansive Master Bedroom Suite with a King Bed, Walk-in Closet, and an antique fainting Couch. All rooms have ceiling fans.
The Stairway to the Lower-Level leads to a meeting/reading/game room and a Second Bedroom with Twin beds and its own full bath and storage area. For convenience, the Utility room contains a full-size Washer and Dryer. All the necessities travelers need are furnished in the home.
