Amtrak stops at the Belton Train Station about a 1⁄4 mile walk from Glacier House for those venturing by train. You can walk to the Middle Fork of the Flathead River crossing over the historic Belton Bridge, now a walking bridge, into Glacier National Park. Even with being so close to West Glacier amenities, the Glacier House sits back in a secluded, peaceful neighborhood. You are surrounded by the woods, which keeps it quiet.
