The suite is not far from Fort Knox (9.5 miles) It is also close to Radcliff (9 miles), about 12 miles from Elizabethtown. It is also centrally located to afford the traveler trips to Louisville – with Churchill Downs and 4th Street Live; Bardstown and its Bourbon Trail; Southern Kentucky with Dinosaur World, Mammoth Cave, Guntown Mountain and Wigwam Village in Cave City, Kentucky Down Under in Horse Cave; and Abraham Lincoln’s birth place in Hodgenville. The suite is a spacious 830 sq. ft. of living space. The bedroom has a double bed with new memory foam mattress topper. The bed also has a heating pad for those chilly nights. There is a large dresser and end tables. A full size closet with hangers, ironing board, iron, extra sheets, pillows and blankets are also in the room. The living room has two couches that can be used to sleep on and a queen size futon. There is a large 50” television with cable in this room. The kitchen is a big space which has a 4 burner stove, a full size refrigerator with water and ice maker, and a full size dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a rice cooker, and a Keurig with an assortment of drink pods for the guest’s use. There are dishes, glasses, pots and pans and utensils. Several plastic containers for leftover food are available in the cabinet. Please wash whatever you use and put them back where you got them from. Also please don't run the dishwasher unless it is full. There is also a dining room table in the kitchen. The bathroom is a roomy area with full tub/shower, toilet and sink, there are also shelves for your toiletries. Towels, soap, shampoo, lotion and toilet paper are available and can be replenished when needed. Other areas – A desk is available in the unit for the guest’s convenience if they need to work on a laptop while traveling. There is a washer and dryer available for a fee. Outside spaces –There is a front porch should you like to sit and have coffee or drink and watch the sunset. There is also a sizable back yard that you can wander, please be advised that this is the dogs area too. The back porch has a table, chair and a solar lit umbrella (you need to turn it on) and is available upon request.
