Looking to recharge in the mountains? Hop onto I-70 to experience breathtaking hikes and views within an hour. One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive a little over an hour through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also one hour from Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Winter Park, and Copper Mountain. This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Golden and surrounding towns, the Rockies, and even Denver if you’re craving the hustle and bustle of the big city!
Getting Around:
The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Denver is South of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while you can hop on I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park. Downtown Golden is a highly walkable city. In addition to nearby Clear Creek Trails, Washington Avenue and the historic 12th Street neighborhood are great locations to stroll. A car is recommended if you will be exploring the mountains. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach further destinations in and around Golden. Get exploring!

Friendly Resident Dogs: Two beloved dogs live with us! You may see them in the backyard or on walks. They would love a friendly hello — but we’ll absolutely respect your space if you prefer not to interact.

Locally Managed: Our dedicated team prioritizes guest satisfaction and is available to assist with any needs throughout your stay.
After-Hours Support: Guest support is available daily until 11:00 PM for any urgent needs or inquiries.
