Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Our family of four enjoyed that the home was located just 30-minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area and a short 15 minute drive into Pagosa Springs for groceries, gasoline, dining, etc. The home was decently clean and included all the kitchen equipment we needed. The kitchen and dining are also configured in a way that works well for a small family. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and my kids enjoyed being on their own level in two separate bedrooms. We liked that there were two and-a-half baths in the house. The deck is very nice, and would probably be nice to utilize in the summer. Parking is convenient, although our car didn't fit under the car port with its car carrier on top, so we had to carry our luggage a few steps further than we anticipated, but we were able to back fully off the road at least, and it was fine.

Negative: I wish the main bedroom bath tub were in better condition, and not so difficult to climb in and out of for a shower. It really needs grab bars because the tub is big and difficult to access. I wish the fridge had been more clean. I had to clean it before I wanted to put our groceries in it. The living room really needs additional comfortable seating. There is one couch pushed up against a wall and two recliners on a perpendicular wall, plus a couple of straight-back dining style chairs. That's it. Our family of four really couldn't kick back and be comfy while watching a movie together. I would have appreciated more window coverings too. The upper level where the dining and living space is has large windows, which are lovely during the day, but at night when we turned the lights on felt like a fish bowl to me. If I stayed during the summer, I would probably wish the home were air-conditioned, but we had a really hard time keeping the home warm enough during our winter stay. We didn't want to mess with the wood burning stove, which I'm sure would have heated the upper level plenty. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would probably book again in the future.
