Our Cabin sits right in the banks of Spring Creek, in Almont, CO. Ideally situated halfway between Gunnison and Crested Butte, you can easily explore any part of the beautiful Gunnison Valley. If you prefer to stay close to home, you're in luck, the Spring Creek/Taylor River corridor has some of the best mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, fishing and rafting in the State, and it’s all right in your back yard! Our Cabin has private creek frontage, you can hear the babbling water from every room in the house. It’s an idyllic “cabin in the woods” experience in a magical place!
The beautiful, modern, main cabin consists of a completely remodeled 4 bed/2 full bath space. Upstairs you will find the primary suite consisting of a king size bed and full private bathroom with walk in shower and freestanding tub. Down stairs in the secondary suite you'll find a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds, as well as a private full bathroom. The main cabin has a cozy living room with sectional couch and gas log fireplace, dining room with hand made maple wood table that seats 6, full custom kitchen with and island bar that seats 6 and full sized laundry on site!
There is a new deck off of the side door that overlooks the back yard, fire pit and Spring Creek, which is just steps away!
The separate “Bunkhouse” a few yards away is a tiny rustic cabin with queen bunk beds, a bathroom, wood burning stove and a small kitchenette. It’s really adorable and can be a separate honeymoon suite or a place to bunk all of the kiddos up!
The property is right on the bank of Spring Creek which flows year around and has fishing. That’s right, fishing just 20 feet from the front door!

The Cabin is located 25 minutes from Gunnison and Created butte, right in the middle! We’re 10 minutes from the town of Almont and a half mile from the Taylor Canyon with some of the best fly fishing and river rafting in the country. Harmels Resort is right around the corner, they have a small restaurant/bar and horse riding. Taylor Park, a popular 4x4 destination is right up the road. During hunting seasons, this area has some of the most prime hunting in the Valley. There is so much fun to be had in this area!
