This homes location is ideal and allows you to walk or bike right to the Animas River or to the Bike path that will lead you all over Durango. The trail/bike path leads to the Durango Recreation Center, Public Library, or to one of many of Durango's plethora of restaurants. The homes location is within walking distance to the Animas Mountain Trail head, where you can hike up to 8000' and enjoy the beautiful views of Animas Valley and Engineer Peak. Durango offers public transportation and there are several trolly stops located within walking distance from the home. The Grocery Store, North City Market is only a few blocks away and is within walking distance from the home. Don't forget to go visit Durango's famous bakery "Bread" which is located a few blocks east of the house! Downtown Durango and Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is a short 2 miles south of the homes location and getting there via car or bike is an easy commute. Visiting your kid to College? The Fort Lewis college is only 3.9 miles from the homes location. Our home is located 18 miles from the well known and popular ski resort, Purgatory Mountain. And don't forget to go soak! Durango Hot Springs is only 8 miles from the home and is newly renovated. It is definitely a local attraction!
This home was Fully Remodeled in 2022 with all the amenities you would need and want to make your stay comfortable. Modern design with high end finishes and new furniture. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex is 920 sq ft and allows ample room for a 2-4 people. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, quartz countertops and is fully stocked. Complimentary Coffee, tea and hot cocoa is provided. The living room has ample seating, complimentary Wifi and a Smart TV. Each of the two bedrooms is equipt with a queen bed and Organic Cotton linens. There is a large office area equip with a desk. The office also allows you plenty of room to store your Bikes, Skis, Camping gear or any recreational equipment you bring while you enjoy the many outdoor activities that Durango Colorado is known for! The Full bathroom comes fully stocked with Organic cotton towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Washer/dryer is located in the bathroom, laundry soap is provided. This unit comes equip with a wood stove that is functional and a complimentary Starter bundle of wood is provided during your stay in the winter months. One Parking spot is available in the Driveway and ample parking just across the street for any other travelers in your party.
Traveling with your furry friends? We love pets! We ask you to not leave them unattended if they like to eat furniture, drywall or bark incessantly please. Also, in an effort to ensure our sidewalks, paths and outdoor areas stay nice and welcoming, Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste. $100 non refundable pet deposit Per pet required during stay.
