Our 2,700 square foot single level residence features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is located 7 miles (12 minutes) from downtown Durango and 34 miles (40 minutes) from Purgatory ski area just 10 minutes from the recently opened Lake Nighthorse.
This home is in one of the nicest residential settings in the Durango area and is situated on 3 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just minutes from downtown Durango and at an elevation of 7,400 feet, always cooler in the summer than downtown. Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience.
The residence features amazing views with floor to ceiling windows, a generously equipped kitchen, reliable WIFI and a Gas Grill. The home does not have Cable TV but Netflix/Amazon can be streamed through the TVs in the Main Living Space and Master Bedroom (using your own account). Note the Kiva fireplaces located in throughout the house are decorative.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
