Nicely furnished, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom dog friendly home in the heart of Basalt. Surrounded by parks, 5 minutes from downtown Basalt and the Frying Pan and Roaring Fork Rivers. Short drive to Aspen and Snowmass. This cozy half duplex is located in Basalt's Southside neighborhood, easy walking distance to the Rio Grande Trail (walking, biking, cross-country skiing), dog friendly parks across the street and 1 block away, walking distance to downtown Basalt and world class fishing on the Frying Pan River. A few blocks off Highway 82 with easy access to Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands (by car or bus). Our home has a main bedroom suite with king bed, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower, a guest room with queen bed, and a second guest/kids room with two twins (second twin is trundle). The guest rooms share a bathroom with all amenities. Spacious downstairs with cathedral ceilings in the living room, 55-inch HD TV, Sonos sound system in living room, kitchen, and main bedroom. Modern spacious kitchen with stainless appliances and bar, and adjoining dining room. Two-car garage. Bicycles in garage available for use. This is the perfect location for a family get-away. No Smoking. Maximum of 6 guests. Well-behaved dog friendly; we prefer no more than one dog but will consider two dogs on a case by case basis. Owner will send brief short-term rental agreement (and pet addendum if bringing a dog) for signature following booking.
