Hike on nearby miles of trails, explore the beaches around the lake, ski Winter Park or Granby Ranch. In the summer, rent a boat (or bring your own!) Watch the occasional storms roll in over the lake from the mountains from the large windows while cozy in the house. Short drive to the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, Ski Granby Ranch. Winter Park about 40 mins drive. 4.5 acres of property with panoramic views of Lake Granby in front of the house and the Colorado River in the back. Must have a four wheel drive vehicle, especially in snow season. Fully stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable accommodations, washer/dryer, dishes, utensils, pots/pans etc. 4 bedrooms and 2 baths lets your family stay comfortably.
