This is truly one of a kind! Built in 1926. We’ve retained as much of the original charm of the one room schoolhouse while creating a space to relax and get away from it all. Built on a 35 acre ranch, 8 miles down the dirt road. There are a couple cabins in the area, but everyone is very friendly. We are 1 hour from Cortez, CO and 45 minutes from Durango, CO or Farmington, NM. There is no cell service, only wifi calling. There is usually wifi available, but because we are so secluded the wifi does often go out. So if you enjoy star-gazing, long peaceful walks out into nature, or sipping hot chocolate by the stove while playing board games or reading a book, then you will love our cabin. We have a very comfortable queen bed, a dining table that seats 4, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and purified water dispenser. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower stall. Linens and towels provided. We also have a TV with DVD’s and games.
