Summary: My husband, myself, and our two dogs stayed at this property for 13 nights. We made due with the place, but there were a few things that I feel others should know before booking. The neighborhood is a bit run down and there was almost always loud music playing from neighbors throughout the day. It was mostly quiet at night. The back yard had an opening to the nextdoor unit's area, and weeds were so tall that our dogs would not use the area to relieve themselves. There are a lot of superficial improvements to the home and it was clean (with exception of floors, which we had to purchase a mop to clean when we checked in). However, the central air was not functioning and the portable cooling unit had to work so hard that it shut down several times during the stay and had to be emptied of water. It simply could not keep up with the July heat. The host did respond very quickly with a solution when we notified him the first time that the unit was malfunctioning. The bedroom does have a window cooling unit that did a fine job keeping that room cool for us. There was a closet, but no dresser in the bedroom to keep clothing, so not ideal for an extended stay. Overall, this property was a decent stay, but it's a small space and definitely no frills.
