Welcome to Honeycomb Hideaway- a delightful three-bedroom, two-bath home nestled in the woods of the private Big Canoe Community. This cheerful house is extra inviting and comfortable, welcoming to families and friends for up to eight guests.

- Living Space -

The living room is four steps down from the main living level, making for a pleasant sunken space with vaulted ceilings, a natural stone hearth, and a wood-burning fireplace. The wood and stone accents have a lodge feel, while the large windows let in plenty of bright natural light and deliver soothing forest views. Sink into the oversized leather couches with a good book or snuggle in for a movie on the flat-screen TV.

- Kitchen & Dining -

The dining area is just down the hall, surrounded by glass doors and windows to provide more forest views. The solid wood dining table seats up to six and is next to the well-equipped kitchen where guests will find everything needed for easy meal-prep: stainless appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher, electric range/oven with hood, microwave, drip & K-cup coffee maker, and all the cookware and dinnerware needed for a pleasant stay.

- Bedrooms & Bathrooms -

The primary bedroom is located on the first floor with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, and a wall-mounted TV. The spacious main-level bathroom has a granite countertop vanity and a shower/tub combo. Two more bedrooms are on the second level, one with a queen bed & TV, while the third bedroom has two queen beds. The roomy full bath on the second level has a shower/tub combo. Each bedroom has a seating area, ceiling fan, and windows looking out to the wooded surroundings while being decorated with calming colors, homey accents, and comfortable bedding. Washing machine/dryer on the main level.

- Outdoor Amenities -

Outside, guests can relax on the deck and stay warm under the propane heater on a chilly evening. There is also a propane BBQ where the chef can enjoy nature while grilling.

The Area:

The Big Canoe area is a private, gated destination community surrounded by wildlife and nature in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Conveniently located only 60 minutes north of Atlanta, at the base of the Appalachian Mountains, it's an ideal getaway destination where guests can take advantage of a range of amenities, including 24 miles of maintained hiking trails, three golf courses, five lakes, waterfalls, mountains, three swimming pools (one indoor), playgrounds, a dog park, and tennis & basketball courts. At Big Canoe, there is something for everyone. At the swimming lake, guests can utilize the beach, paddle boats, canoes, and paddleboards. The mountain lake is a serene backdrop for the marina, where pontoon and fishing boats are available for rental. Guests can also access the wellness center and basketball courts. At Honeycomb Hideaway, you’ll be about 6-7 minutes drive time to the different amenities. While some amenities are free, each paid amenity is available to guests for a fee. Amenity fees are not included in the rental fees. Nearby are wineries and shopping.

Things to Note

OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 8 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.

PARKING:
The driveway accommodates two-four cars (depending on size).

COFFEEMAKERS:
Keurig and drip coffeemakers.

TV and PAC MAN:
Does not have streaming service. You can sign into your own streaming services or apps. There is an arcade with PAC Man and other games at the top of the stairs.

FIREPLACE:
Is wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelog or firewood.

**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. Washing machine/dryer on the main level. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is pet friendly with pet fee. :-)

REST AND RECHARGE:

3: Two Queen Beds - third bedroom upstairs

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

SMOKING:
Smoking/vaping of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.

PET FEE:
$100/per, 2 dog max, 45 lb. limit- you are welcome to bring your pet for a nonrefundable pet fee of $100.00 per dog with a two dog limit. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside in Big Canoe and kept in crates if left in the house alone. Failure to notify of pet and pay fee is grounds for immediate eviction. Dogs are not allowed on furniture in any home. Damage caused by pet(s) brought to home, or excessive cleaning for housekeeping will be documented and billed to guest. (Cats are not allowed.)

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. Guests will be given a keyless entry code prior to check-in.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees). If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest. We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
