Come enjoy our newly renovated bungalow! Located centrally in the hamlet of Phoenicia, in a sweet little neighborhood and surrounded by the beautiful Catskill Mountains, we're a few walkable blocks from Main Street and its shops, restaurants, the sweetest little farmer's market on Sundays, a hidden gem of a thrift shop, the Tanbark Trail trailhead, a cute lil' playground, and more. The creek is down the street for swimming, stone skipping and splashing!
The space
We've spent a last year and a half painstakingly renovating the interior of the bungalow and have lots planned for the exterior renovation this summer! The house has two separate bedrooms, each with a queen bed, lots of pillows and cozy linens. Our dining table seats six, and two comfy couches are waiting for you to come relax by the fire. Dive into our record collection, cook a great meal on our induction stovetop, build a fire in the wood stove, check out our always growing book shelf, pull out a board game or puzzle, snuggle in for a movie night, take a relaxing shower under our rain showerhead, gather with friends for a grilled dinner on the back porch, or enjoy s’mores by the fire pit in our backyard.
If you’re interested in an incredible massage while you’re visiting, our neighbor across the street is a sought-after massage therapist with a private massage studio in his backyard. Walk across the street for an hour or so of bliss! We’re happy to connect you to him to check on his availability during your stay.
The house has strong WiFi and limited cell service but WiFi calling can get you in touch with the outside world (or plead bad service and get away from it all!).
We also have many amenities for children if you're bringing any small humans with you - two high chairs, a bassinet, pack and play, assorted books and puzzles, and children’s dishware - we access to these hope these things make your travel load easier!
