The third bedroom downstairs functions as an office, with a dedicated desk space - though you’ll probably be too distracted by the view to get any work done. When it’s time to head out for the day, the bus to Winter Park Resort leaves from City Market, just a half-mile walk away. You can also walk to Grand Elk Grille and Starbucks. When you come back, turn that fireplace back on, grab a board game or stream your favorite show, and get cozy once again.
When you stay at Eagle Ridge Retreat, discover some of the best mountain biking in the country, including the Fraser-to-Granby trail that you access directly out the front door. During the winter, try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing across the street at Granby Ranch or other stunning trails for all levels nearby. In warmer months, give kayaking, paddle boarding, or boating a shot at nearby Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake, with beautiful views of the Rockies from the water. There are also many opportunities for fly fishing on the Fraser or Colorado Rivers.
