Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Comfortable for 4 of us including one on the sofa-bed. Good warm swimming pool. Larry who drove the local van between Arrowhead and Beaver Creek. Lovely mountain views. Great skiing on the Arrowhead runs. Nice breakfast in the local cafe.

Negative: Fire broke twice. Not ski in/out - a bit of a hike up the road. Hot tub very limited size so regularly over-filled. Couple of lifts to get to the main Beaver Creek skiing area. Arrowhead is not a good choice if you do not have a car - there are no local shops; there is a local van but only 5 days per week. Getting to a supermarket means a van to Beaver Creek then Bus to Avon. Only one local restaurant. Beaver Creek is very expensive - so much so than several previous years!

Summary: A great week of skiing but Arrowhead is a poor location without a car and Beaver Creek is so expens.
