The Space:
This 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is perfect for a couple or small family or small group of friends—folks who want to be close (very close) to some of the best attractions the Springs has to offer travelers and adventure-seekers.
Updated to modern perfection, this home is bright and open, comfortable and practical. It features a living room, an office, a full kitchen and small dining area, a fully equipped laundry room along with a green and private backyard with quiet outdoor seating.
After parking in the private driveway or on the street in front of the home you’ll enter through the front door using the private key-code provided to you at check-in. You’ll immediately notice the warm, bright atmosphere, with big windows and skylights, as well as the welcoming décor. There’s a comfortable sectional just to the right, perfect for a rest or some time at the TV or with the games in the cabinet. There’s seating for 4 at the table in the corner, and just beyond that the home’s separate kitchen, is fully functional and ready for your culinary creations with additional seating for two at the small breakfast table.
Also just off the main living space is the home’s primary bedroom, set apart by a stylish barn door. Offering queen comfort and plenty of natural light, it’s a comfortable space to recover after a day’s adventures. Attached to this bedroom is another smaller room with a comfortable little twin bed with pull out trundle bed and views of the backyard and the rock formations of the Garden beyond. The home’s single bathroom is functional, modern, and ready for business; and the third bedroom, offering another comfortable queen, is down the hall from the kitchen. The Neighborhood:
This quiet, suburban neighborhood is defined by its proximity to Garden of the Gods — Colorado Springs’ own natural wonder, with annual visitation close to that of the Grand Canyon. There’s an authentic “Colorado” feel here, with views of Pikes Peak, just to the southwest, and of course, views of the fabulous red rock formations of the Garden, a few blocks to the north. There’s even neighborhood access within walking distance from the home. Trails, rock-climbing, outdoor-adventure is obviously right at your threshold, but some of the area’s most notable man-made amenities are pretty close too.
Old Colorado City, with its western-authentic galleries, cafes, restaurants, bars and artisan shops is within walking or biking distance and just up the road. So is historic Manitou Springs, at the base of Pikes Peak and home-base for hikers of the (infamous) Manitou Incline and the Peak’s Barr Trail. Downtown Colorado Springs, with its lively energy, exceptional food and drink and myriad entertainment opportunities, is just about 5 minutes east of here by car, and other area attractions such as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Broadmoor & World Arena are just 10 minutes away. Getting Around:
There are many natural attractions extremely close by and also restaurants/bars/coffee shops within walking distance, but we recommend using an Uber, Lyft, or having your own rental car when coming to Colorado Springs. A bike too! RIDE Colorado!
